We also remind children to sneeze or cough into their "chicken wing" (bent elbow) and have them wash their hands after using a tissue or touching their mouth or nose. Thank you for taking the time to meet with your child's teacher. It is a great time to connect with the teachers. During conferences, teachers will share all of the wonderful things that your child has been doing this school year. We look forward the events that will take place in March.Ĭonferences will be held March 9th-13th with NO SCHOOL on the 12th and 13th. After they cooked on the skillet, the children added cinnamon sugar to their mini tortilla. The children rolled the dough and then got to use the tortilla press to make their tortillas. We also enjoyed making tortillas with Maestra Julia in February. The children all had a wonderful time using their creativity during this exploration of the arts visit. They had fun moving to music and practiced various moves such as the slide during their dancing. Local dance studio owner and dancer, Mary Lorraine shared dance and movement with the children last week. Hopefully these temps will hold and we will be able to officially welcome spring with this warm weather!įebruary flew by and we enjoyed many fun events.
